The Group Headquarters:

Established in 1926 in The Hague, Culimeta has been involved in the distribution and processing of textile glass fibre products since 1948.
Culimeta GmbH occupies two sites in Germany, with the headquarters based at the main site in Bersenbrück.
Now recognized as the leading supplier in its sector, the group consists of a further five sites located throughout Europe and employs over 200 people.
Thermal and electrical insulation products manufactured by Culimeta include, braided or knitted insulating sleeves or specialist seals made with processed glass fibre filaments,
door and glazing seals for fireplaces and stoves and personal and fire protection products.
Culimeta also use modern laminating techniques to produce specialised technical fabrics and felts with up to five layers of substrate, combining and enhancing the individual properties of each layer.
Culimeta products are used for industrial applications, the automobile and electronic industry as well as the iron and steel industry.

P-D aitec GmbH Coloured Glass yarns and Sewing Threads

P-D aitec GmbH is a joint venture company established at the start of 2007.
The company manufactures PTFE coated yarns and threads as well as colour coated glass yarns using of state-of-the-art machines with patented print impregnation technology

Culimeta Baltics SIA; our recent expansion into Latvia

Culimeta Baltics is our newest plant, 4.400 sq m built in Valmiera, Latvia in late 2006. manufacturing threads and texturised glass fibre products to complement our plants in Mölln (Germany) and La Grand-Croix (France).

Moulinage d'Auberives; Textile Yarns and Threads

Acquired in 2004 Moulinage d'Auberives mainly processes textile yarns for the clothing and furnishing industry.

Nouvelle Tissafil

Part of the group since 2003, a new plant was built in 2006 in La Grand-Croix, mainly producing fine glass yarns for weaving. It now acts as the production and distribution hub for southern Europe.

Culimeta Benelux

Culimeta Benelux was established in 1996 as an independent sales office to provide our customers in Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg a local service.
