FireHalt® Gap Seal Tapes have been developed to provide maximum protection when fitted into gaps in walls and floors, often created by penetrations. The unique
construction results in a soft, resilient tape that readily conforms to fill the most irregular shaped void. In a fire situation, the tape expands to fill all the available space around the penetration. The product is available in two styles 265
at 8mm thick and 465 at 14mm thick and currently available in a standard width of 140 mm. Other widths available on request.

| FireHalt® Style 265 Gap Seal Tape, is a two ply construction, consisting of an intumescent layer bonded to a layer of Acousta-fil expanding glass tape.
Style 265 is intended for use in narrow gaps or voids and can be used in multiple layers depending on the thickness required. Style 265 should be installed with the looped edges to front and back of
the void and can be coated with a fire resistant paint or mortar if required. |

FireHalt® Style 465 Gap Seal Tape, is a three ply construction, consisting of an intumescent layer sandwiched between two layers of Acousta-fil expanding HT glass fibre tape.
Style 465 is designed to be a more flexible solution than intumescent pillows when folded into packs and can be re-usable. Style 465 should be installed looped edges to front and back of the void and
can be coated with a fire resistant paint or mortar if required. |

FireHalt® Gap Seal Tapes can be rolled or folded to form packs before fitting into a void or used in layers for narrow gaps. Gaps should be packed to a
tight fit and voids should be completely filled. The packs may be set back slightly from the surface if a coating is to be applied.
FireHalt® Gap Seal
Tapes are easy to fit and can be removed and re-used if new services are required through the penetration. Gap Seal Tape is ideal for cable tray penetrations.
